Clinical care
Consultant-led neuropsychiatric assessment and rehabilitation for complex conditions, integrating biological, psychological and social factors to guide clear diagnosis and structured treatment.
Specialist assessment and treatment
Effective treatment begins with understanding.
Our assessments are formulation-led and integrative.
We consider neurological mechanisms, psychological processes and wider life context together, recognising that symptoms develop within systems rather than in isolation.
The aim is coherence: a structured explanation of presentation, underlying mechanisms and functional impact.
Assessment forms the foundation of all rehabilitation pathways.
Our treatment programme will reflect this holistic approach.
What to expect:
Detailed clinical history
Review of prior investigations
Structured neuropsychiatric formulation
Clear diagnostic opinion
A comprehensive treatment plan
Virtual functional neurological disorder rehabilitation
vFND is a structured rehabilitation model developed by Chris Symeon and his team for individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder.
It provides specialist, consultant-directed rehabilitation within a defined clinical framework, accessible nationally and internationally.
All disciplines work within a coordinated structure with defined phases, measurable goals and scheduled consultant review.
The award winning model integrates mind and body within a rigorous neuropsychiatric framework. It is not informal remote support. It is a consultant-designed rehabilitation programme with clear direction and clinical accountability.
Places within vFND are intentionally limited to maintain depth of oversight and continuity across the multidisciplinary team.
vFND is multidisciplinary and formulation-led.
Depending on clinical need, the team may include:
Neuropsychology
Physiotherapy
Speech and Language Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Day-patient rehabilitation – London
For individuals requiring in-person intervention, we offer day-patient rehabilitation based in our clinic on Orchard Street, Marylebone, London.
Day-patient treatment allows for more intensive engagement within a contained, professional clinical setting.
This pathway provides:
Multidisciplinary input
Defined rehabilitation goals
Ongoing consultant oversight
Scheduled review and adjustment
Inpatient and hybrid rehabilitation
For individuals requiring in-person intervention, we offer inpatient rehabilitation delivered in collaboration with partner clinics and hospitals in London.
In patient treatment may be more appropriate for those requiring higher intensity rehabilitation or those with nursing or care needs.
We also design hybrid pathways combining:
vFND virtual oversight
London-based day-patient intervention
Inpatient rehabilitation
Post-discharge multidisciplinary coordination
